Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 2026
These terms describe how Countio works and what to expect when using the platform.
Using Countio
Countio provides informational checklist content designed to help you organise and complete everyday tasks. The checklists are intended as general guidance and reference only, not as professional advice.
Not Professional Advice. Countio does not provide medical, legal, financial, investment, tax, or emergency advice. Checklists related to health, legal matters, personal finance, safety, or emergencies are for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Always consult an appropriate licensed professional — such as a physician, attorney, financial advisor, or emergency services — before making decisions that could affect your health, safety, legal rights, or financial wellbeing. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
You use all checklists at your own discretion and risk. Countio is not responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on the content provided.
Account Eligibility & Minimum Age
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required to provide consent in your jurisdiction) to create a Countio account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Accounts created by individuals under the applicable minimum age, or with false information, may be suspended or terminated without notice.
Guest Data & Browser Storage
If you use Countio without an account, your checklist progress, bookmarks, recently viewed items, and preferences may be stored locally in your browser. This data is tied to the specific browser and device you used, and may be permanently lost if you clear your browser storage, use private or incognito browsing, or switch devices. Countio is not responsible for any loss of locally stored data.
Account Security & Cloud Synchronization
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you enable cloud synchronization, selected information — such as bookmarks, progress, and preferences — is transmitted and stored on Countio's servers so it can be accessed across devices.
You agree to notify Countio immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach. Countio is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account.
Content Provided As-Is
All content on Countio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While Countio strives for accuracy and quality, it does not guarantee that every checklist is complete, current, accurate, or applicable to your specific situation. No content on Countio constitutes a warranty or representation.
Your Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
By using Countio, you agree to:
- Use the platform responsibly and lawfully.
- Not misuse, copy, scrape, or abuse the platform or its content, except that automated crawling by legitimate search engines in accordance with Countio's robots.txt is permitted.
- Not interfere with the platform's operation, security, or infrastructure.
- Not attempt to access data, systems, or accounts you are not authorised to access.
- Not upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
You remain responsible for your own actions and outcomes when following any checklist.
Intellectual Property
The Countio name, logo, platform design, and all original checklist content are owned by Countio. You may use checklists for your personal or internal business workflows, but you may not copy, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit the content without prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks, service names, or references that appear within checklists remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification or informational purposes only.
Third-Party Services & Links
Countio may contain links to third-party websites, services, and resources that are not operated or controlled by Countio. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Countio is not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party website or service. You access third-party resources at your own risk and should review their terms and privacy policies.
Service Availability & Changes
Countio is provided on an "as available" basis. While Countio strives to maintain reliable service, it does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access at all times. Countio may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict access to any feature, content, or part of the platform at any time, with or without notice, and assumes no liability for doing so.
Account Suspension & Termination
Countio reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the platform at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, if Countio believes you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others, or to protect the security or integrity of the platform. Upon termination, your right to use Countio ceases immediately.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Countio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the platform. This does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You acknowledge that your use of Countio is at your sole risk and that you are solely responsible for any consequences resulting from your reliance on the content or services provided.
Content Updates
Countio may update, expand, or improve its content over time. Checklists may be added, revised, or removed as the platform grows and evolves.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the platform or for clarity. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by displaying a notice on the website. Continued use of Countio after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Privacy Policy
